How to create a listing — step by step

Step 1: Choose your building image

Use a photo of a real installed building. Crop out or avoid manufacturer branding and UI in the image as much as possible. Clean, professional shots of the building itself perform best.

Step 2: Price the building in the 3D Builder

Choose a real ZIP code for your target area. Rebuild the exact building shown in your photo using that ZIP code. The price from the 3D Builder is your listing price.

Step 3: Build the listing on Facebook

1. Go to facebook.com → Marketplace → Create New Listing → Item for Sale
2. Upload your building photo
3. Title: “Metal Building New” — see the Sales Dashboard for approved title variations
4. Price: Exact 3D Builder price for that ZIP and configuration
5. Category: Tools & Home Improvement → Building Supplies & Hardware → Other Building Supplies & Hardware
6. Condition: New
7. Description: Pull from the Sales Dashboard template. Fill in the correct specs (doors, windows, etc.). Always include “+ tax” after the price.
8. Turn ON “Hide from Friends” — otherwise your personal network sees all your listings
9. Location: Set to your target city/ZIP
10. Hit Publish
